The ATLAS 8.9 is a very lightweight gravel bike with a carbon frame and carbon fork, equipped by FOCUS with an electronic SRAM Rival XPLR 1x12-speed groupset and DT Swiss GR 1600 28" wheels. Because it weighs less than ATLAS 6-series models and has a more agile endurance geometry, it is ideally suited for competition use.

The new carbon Atlas 8-series frame aims to trim weight, while improving rider comfort over the alloy bike. Complete 8.series carbon bikes are said to be 1.7kg lighter than the 6.series aluminum bike. It still gets the same full carbon, tapered steerer carbon fork with internal cable routing.
